They certainly go well with each other at Coopertown Café, a restaurant situated in Hattiesburg, run by native Brookhaven bros, Cameron and Doyce Cleckler. “& ldquo; We originate from a culinary family,” & rdquo; claimed proprietor, Cameron Cleckler. Their grandparents, Houston and Gladys Jordan, opened up The 84 Dairy Twist in the 1960s. Not only are the food and music southerly, but the décor is, also. Each tabletop displays a theme, whether it be “& ldquo; Opted for the Wind” & rdquo; or & ldquo; Southern Miss. & rdquo; Camp Shelby is also represented. “& ldquo; Every tabletop is an original that we made ourselves,” & rdquo; said C. Cleckler. The café has an informal feeling. The proprietor described the atmosphere as “& ldquo; extremely laid back & rdquo; – and & ldquo; informal eating & rdquo;-- the best atmosphere for the smooth, velvety blues.
